Another good friend passed away yesterday. I had known him for 35 years. He was one of the good ones. We worked at the same company for 35 years. He was a database wizard and a master of Excel. He was a database genius. He was extremely loyal and could handle anything you threw at him.
He was also a very good person. He had high standards and a great sense of humor. He worked hard and played hard. He loved his wife and his family. He had great integrity. He helped me out a hundred times. He was always willing to help his friends and I was very, very fortunate to be one of his.
And what do I do now?
I honor him by making the most of the time I have left. Stop wasting time on things that don't matter. Think about how precious each day is. Each day can be used or thrown away.
I will commit to using my time better.
Cheers to you Mike.
Thanks for being such a great friend.
Thanks for all you help.
