Have you made sense of your life? Then write about it.
If not, then write until you figure it out.
It was said a long time ago that experience is the best teacher. I read recently an improved thought - examined experience is a better teacher. I totally agree with this. We all have experience in life. But are we all succeeding from it? No. It is in the close examination and analysis of our experience that we really learn from past experience and prepare ourselves to succeed in the future. The best way to do that is to write about it. Writing is a hundred times better than just mulling something over. You get to experience clarity from writing that you do not experience with you simply think about something. Give clarity to your life.
Writing is the most powerful tool you have at your disposal for self-discovery. The best way to define yourself is to write it down. Write down your core values. Write down your dreams and your fears. You give power to dreams when you write them down and you diminish your fears with you take them out of the darkness into the revealing light of truthful words.
Help yourself and help your grandchildren by writing the stories of your life. Write about how you made sense of life.
