How do you pass down faith?

It's a big challenge today. So many distractions and so many temptations.

Write a letter and explain your own faith journey.

How did your faith get you through the hardest times of your life?

How did it help strengthen your marriage?

Did you hold hands and pray together?

Were you the primary spiritual influence for your children and grandchildren?

Write about the importance of 'teachable moments.'

Religious parents raise religious children. Grandparents that write about faith, are much more likely to have grandchildren that have greater faith.

Faith requires its own language. When you write about faith and talk about faith you teach your grandchildren a new language; hope, forgiveness, reconciliation, penance, worship, temptation, praise, confession, spiritual paths, levels of awareness, covenant, unconditional love, prayer, and so much more. Plant those words as seeds. Water them. Take out the weeds. Watch them grow.

    Write about your faith journey.
