Same is true for writing the stories of your life. You get to decide what to include and what to exclude. You have the power to make yourself the hero of your journey. To describe the villains and the faithful friends.

You have the freedom and the power to tell your stories as you experienced them. You get interpret what happen to you. This is not a license to lie, this is your gift to paint the colors and the shapes of how you saw things at the time.

Write your life stories as you felt them. Write with honesty from your heart. It will resonate with those that read your stories. You get to be an artist - you get to paint with words.
