"When you write the story of your life, don't let anyone else hold the pen."
And how do you do that? By writing your own life story. Don't give up your pen. Don't let anyone else write your life stories. You have the power to write your stories; the plots, the characters, the challenges, tone, conflicts and theme. All yours to write.
You hold the pen to writing your life stories. You have to the power to tell your life stories to your family. If you don't use that pen and write those stories either they will never be written or someone else will the take you pen and write stories about you. It also means being intention about the words you choose. Tell the world you weren't just 'lucky.' Tell them you are blessed, fortunate and that you worked very, very hard to earn what you are now very grateful for.
Your pen has great power. It is mightier than the sword. It has the power to heal and reconcile and clarify and bring joy and understanding.
Want a happy ending to your life story? You have the power to decide when your story ends. Don't like the current ending? Re-write it with your pen and your actions. Man, am I blessed to have the power to make choices and hold my "Life Story Writing Pen."
